About our Management and Technology Team
Top management is comprised of entrepreneurs that are well versed and trained in guiding companies to success. With degrees in finance and organizational development, our client-centered approach has satisfied Wall Street firms, top mortgage banking companies, asset acquisition and management companies, attorneys, and loan servicing companies. The team has been trained by Harvard PhD's and has worked for companies in management positions that include, but are not limited to Wells Fargo, Banc One, Deloitte and Touche, Charles Schwab, Nestle and Sodexho.
Optimal Asset's technology team is comprised of Stanford PhD's, MIT and UC Berkeley graduates. Each of them bring over fifteen years of experience as a system designer, lead architect and senior engineer/programmer for some of the big named companies in Silicon Valley. These names include Oracle, Sapient, Hewlett- Packard and numerous others. They have won industry competitions for database performance enhancement and deployed global financial management systems. They have also been part of teams that have won awards for website designs and implementation.
Some of the team's accomplishments include:
- Participated in $1.1 billion Ritzmae securitization transaction for RTC and RTC designated securities underwriters. Responsible for preparing assignments for more than 300 institutions in at least 40 different states. Required to print intervening assignments by tracking loans to the old operating institution name prior to RTC receivership.
- Participated in clearing exceptions on over 5 CMBS securitizations that were declared to be “in breach” by the special servicer (B piece holder) with a 30-90 day time frame requiring the issuer to repurchase the loans if not cleared. We were successful on all five transactions, two of which were done simultaneously.
- Managed and performed all tasks on a CMBS exception clearing project containing over 2,000 exceptions which were cleared within a 35 day deadline for a re-REMIC transaction involving CS First Boston and TIAA-CREF.
- Managed and preformed all tasks on a CMBS exception clearing project for 8 pools simultaneously, clearing 84% of the exceptions in 60 days.
